Guild Requirements
Guild Requirements (edited 4/28/08)
We are doing some recruiting. If you don't quite meet these standards... talk to us. For people that are the Catalysts type, we may wave some of the requirements. (To come off trial, you must be level 80, 300 AAs, and have completed the flag requirements.)
1. Current guild level requirements (We do let people in at level 75, you just must be 80 to come off of trial).
80- Bard - Open, must be level 80, 300+ AAs
80- Beastlord - Open, must be level 80, 500+ AAs
80- Berserker - Open, must be level 80, 300+ AAs
80- Cleric - High need, must be level 80, 300+ AAs
80- Druid - High need, must be level 80, 300+ AAs
80- Enchanter - Open, level 80, MGB and 200+ AAs
80- Magician - Open, must be level 80, 300+ AAs
80- Monk - Low need, must be level 80, 300+ AAs
80- Necromancer - Open, must be level 80, 300+ AAs
80- Paladin - Open, must be level 80, 500+ AAs
80- Ranger - Open, must be level 80, 500+ AAs
80- Rogue - Open, must be level 80, 300+ AAs
80- Shadow Knight - Open, must be level 80, 500+ AAs
80- Shaman - Open, must be level 80, 300+ AAs
80- Warrior - Open, must be level 80, 500+ AAs
80- Wizard - Open, must be level 80, 300+ AAs
2. Flagging - not needed at the moment.
3. AAs - You should have at least 500 AAs (less if a needed class above), with the important ones in the right place, to include the following: Pet classes MUST have Pet Hold Mages and wizzies should have SCF 3 and SCS 3 at minimum Priest classes should have as many healing AAs as possible Melee classes should have as many defensive AAs as possible Buff classes (Priests, Enchanters, Paladins) must have MGB and be prepared to use it upon your first raid.
4. Prior raid experience required.
5. Trial members should make 50% of raids to complete trial periods. We will no longer extend those that do not make this requirement to longer trial periods, unless you have communicated to the guild leadership that a real life issue has hit you, in which case, you will be placed on break until the issue is resolved, once the issue is resolved, you will begin your trial period. We just can't evaluate you
for fitting into the guild if we haven't raided with you and 50% is not that difficult to do since we only raid four days a week. (If you can only make 35% of the raids, your trial period is over after attending 35 raids... special arrangements can be made for special reasons.)
6. Installation and knowledge of zone maps (it is not expected for all players to know every zone out there, but basic knowledge of Antonica, Kunark, Velious, Luclin, and PoP, OOW, DoN, DoDh, PoR, TSS, and SoF zones should be standard). Don't ask us during raids how to get to DSK or COA.
7. It is required to have an updated Magelo profile. We find a correllation between people that follow these instructions and following instructions in a raid.
8. Must not be in or applying to any other guild, if we find you have applied
to another guild while applying with us your application will be rejected.
9. Must have all current expansion packs up through Secrets of Faydwer.
10. As a guild, we do not support 1.0 or 1.5 fights on raid nights. If you don't have it before you apply to us, then plan to work on it on your own.
The Application Process
1) Every application should to have 1 officer or 2 full member sponsors before becoming a trial member.
2) Every application must have a current Magelo profile.
3) Officers will preview the applications in the officer's forum first.
Upon acceptance of a valid application, it will be posted to the general
forum section for all members to review, it will remain up for the full length
of your trial/probationary period.
- To become a trial member, you must create a username for the
forums (use your characters name).
- At the end of 30 Days, the Trial Member must have 5 votes nodding them
on.
- To become a full member, at the end of the 30 day trial period:
- There must be no serious issues posted on this
persons application thread in main forum.
- You must meet our guild minimum of level 80 and class-specific AAs.
- You must meet our minimum flagging requirements
- You must have the current expansions.
- At the 30 day marker if all above is met, their app is removed from the forum, and the trial is removed from their name in guild tool.
The
reason for leaving the application up is because any issues that occur during
the person's trial can be posted immediately for other members to see. Perhaps
post explanations, or even concur on any findings that the other members
post. (Officer and Members can participate) This thread will be posted in
normal form (not as a poll). This way there is no anonymous voting.
4) It is the responsibility of a Trial Member's sponsors to teach the trial member the ways and rules of the guild. It is the responsibility of the Trial Member to read the forums regularly.
- Once you are a full member you can get assistance and or raids scheduled on your behalf as schedules and standards allow. Leave your entitlement issues at the door. For epic raids, follow the instructions in the forums after you become a full member.
5) Read and understand the guild charter and rules (Click to read and continue to the Catalysts' application.).
